Surprise Les Paul Guitar

Submitted by rust1que on Tue, 23/06/2015 - 14:46

Rustique Bass Player Chris Wing has completed a Les Paul Guitar. Chris has hand made it from Maple, and presented it to Rustique lead guitarist Graham Hayes. WOW!!!! This is a real work of art, a labour of love - a masterpiece. With a guitarist like Graham behind it this instrument will sing.

Haloween Gig a great success.

The band were not altogether happy with their sound set-up at this performance. Rustique had brought their mid range equipment using individual PA's for instruments and one P.A. for vocals. This was not an average pub gig. The place was buzzing with a large crowd, and it soon became obvious that we would have trouble ballancing instruments and we would not hear ourselves play without monitors.

Rustique played with two decks for vthe first tim in the Ritz Burnham-on-Sea on 28th September 2014. Two Guitars, Mandolin, Accordion and Fiddle were mixed throough the main deck, with the upright Bass through it's own P.A. Vocals for six voices and the Irish Whistle were mixed through their new Mixing unit and run through two additional speakers. The results at Burnhams Cider Festival at the Ritz were well received. We will continue to work on improving sound quality.
